A significant Swiss watch manufacturer with a rich history, the original Swiss Buren ceased production in 1972, but its spirit of excellence and innovation left an indelible mark.

Our Journey Begins in Cairo: Buren Trade Co.

Buren Trade Co. was established in 1958 at the vibrant watch commercial center of Cairo by the visionary Mr. Fathy Habib. Our company began as a dedicated retailer, focusing on offering discerning customers the finest Swiss branded watches, and quickly became known as a trusted source for original Buren timepieces.

By 1965, driven by a commitment to reach more customers, we expanded our operations, embracing both wholesale and retail, laying the groundwork for a broader impact in the Egyptian market.

In 1979, the torch of leadership was gracefully passed to Mr. Maged Fathy, who continued to uphold the company’s established values and expand its reach in both wholesale and retail sectors.

A pivotal moment arrived in 2001. Recognizing the immense trust and demand associated with the Buren name in Egypt, we took a bold step forward: we proudly registered “Buren” as our very own trademark. This marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter, as we forged a strategic partnership with one of the biggest and most reputable factories in Hong Kong to produce our exclusive line of “Buren” watches.
